Phil’s Lawn Mowing offers professional yard cleanup and bed restoration to prepare your lawn for the upcoming season. Why is it important? In the spring, an early lawn cleanup removes leaf litter and debris, clears fallen branches, and trims your grass to the recommended height, to get your lawn care off to a great start. Spring cleanup is a required service if your lawn is not ready for the upcoming mowing season. In the late fall, suffocating leaf litter left on the ground over the cold winter months compromises the root system due to the retention of excessive moisture and lack of oxygen. Yard cleanup is invoiced when completed.
Why use Phil’s Lawn Mowing? It’s all about keeping your turf healthy. We use high-powered leaf blowers designed for your property: backpack blowers to clear around beds, hardscapes, and hard-to-reach areas, and wheeled blowers to move large amounts of leaves over a wide area. Yes, we even use good old-fashion rakes. At Phil’s Lawn Mowing, the job’s not done until your lawn is leaf- and litter-free.
Do your flower and tree beds need some maintenance? Phil’s Lawn Mowing uses high-quality double-shredded mulch to beautify your beds and provide water retention and weed control. Natural and color-enhanced mulch are available for the appearance you desire. We also can redefine your edging to make them look sharp. Just indicate you’re interested in either of these services when requesting a quote.
Want free mulch? At your request, we’ll mulch the leaves and spread them around your beds. Otherwise, lawn debris will be bagged and brought to the curbside. Is your property adjacent to a private wooded area? If so, we can blow your debris into the woods. Have a special request? We’re flexible. Just let us know ahead of time so we can make arrangements.
